I have been trying to still spend time with Bentleigh just one on one. She has been so good with Luhndyn and has 'shared' Jeff an I better then I ever expected. Luhndyn still requires ALOT of our attention so while she is napping during the day, I let Bentleigh decide what we are going to do. A few days ago she said she wanted her picture taken, so ....here are a few of my beautiful ' big girl'

oh wow! I really cant believe my little girl is 3! Time really does fly! She is so smart and has so much personality! She is losing the 'baby cute' and turning into a beautiful little girl right before our eyes! Anyway ... I could go on about her forever! We had a princess party, and guess who showed up....SLEEPING BEAUTY or in Bentleighs words 'stupid duty'

We have been LOVING the weather lately! We have a hard time staying inside! Thought I would share a little yard work Bentleigh and Luhndyns style.......

Yea she tried to eat the chalk :)

Later that night Luhndyn had fallen asleep and Bentleigh was watching a movie, so I ran downstairs to change the laundry. Two seconds later I heard Luhndyn whining and Bentleigh came flying down stairs

Bentleigh : MOM! Luhndyn waked up! I was noiseies ( noisy), She is cryin! I will fix her.

Just as fast as she made it down she went running back up the stairs, and sure enough, Luhndyn stopped crying! I figured Bentleigh had given her her bottle or was playing with her, so I continued changing my laundry and went back up stairs to find this....

Apparently they are finding something about this quite funny! So much for the bath Luhndyn just had!

LOL I am so glad I caught this! Luhndydn does this CHEESY grin all the time! It is so hilarious! She usually tilts her head back and closes her eyes when she does it, it is the funniest thing ever!

The best part of this whole thing is that when Jeff got home from school he asked Bentleigh what happened to Luhndyn and she said " Daddy sister made a mess" he asked her if she helped and she said " No Luhndyn just ate my ice cream!" like she was mad about it, then I showed him the pictures and we all laughed.

DONT MIND THAT MY KIDS LOOK LIKE RUG RATS LOL Luhndyn fell asleep right after her bath, hair wet and all, and Bentleigh had been running non stop all day!

EASTER!!

Once AGAIN I am behind on blogging! We had a full house for Easter! My nieces and their brother stayed over with my girls, so the Easter bunny was pretty busy!! Just a few things before I put up the few pictures that I have.

First of all about two months ago we were out driving around and decided to go walk through the pet store...oh man was that a mistake. Turns out our little Bentleigh is quite the animal lover! She wanted to hold everything....and they let her! She decided she really liked the "choo choo chilla" (chinchilla) because " mom them are SO CUTE!" so we had to go visit the chinchilla everytime we got a chance. She talks about them non stop, so I uhh hmm... the Easter bunny.... decided that she should have one, being the nice Easter bunny that he is.

Also Luhndyn flat out looks like she has been hit by a bus lol. At the time I thought it was a bad cold, now I know that the poor little thing was cutting all 4 of her top teeth at the same time. They are just now coming through, she has been pretty miserable lately to say the least....

With all of that said lol....here are ALL of the kids on Easter :)

A few weekends ago we had a little girls night out! Jeff had EMT class so his mom and I took BOTH girls to Disney on Ice. I was SO worried about taking Luhndyn! I thought for sure she would get bored and I would end up walking the halls with her! BUT she did awesome! She liked the show just as much as Bentleigh did! We had awesome seats in the 2nd row so everytime the characters would get in front of us she would reach for them and yell and laugh it was so cute! We had a blast, and are so happy that grandma went with us!

Last one! I think we just went through the whole month in one night! Whew!

Jeff and I went to the Jazz game on Thursday...and again on Saturday! We are both huge Jazz fans and to get a few nights out to ourselves..well it doesn't really happen too often. OF course we had to get some things for the girls. So here is our little D Will...as soon as I can get Bentleigh out of her sleeping beauty dress I will put up some pictures up of her in her Jazz gear too!

The 16th was my dads 50th birthday! If you follow our blog then you know that Bentleigh is a little obsessed with birthdays...remember the Little Mermaid cake she picked out for Jeff? Yea...so pretty much same situation, she had to get grandpa a cake too, so here it is...

Yep lol Hannah Montana. The lady asked me if grandpa liked Hannah Montana, and I just laughed and told her he didn't really have a choice, then she put two and two together and figured out that it was the two year old in the cart grinning non stop, that liked Hannah Montana

For Valentines Day this year we kept it pretty simple. We went shopping during the day, and then met up with Jeffs parents for a little bowling It was so nice just to hang out and relax!

I know I know! I am getting behind again!

OK.. So Bentleigh was in a little Valentines Day beauty pageant. She did so good, and she had a blast! I had a hard time keeping her off of the stage! She is such a girl lol! Anyway she ended up winning Most Adorable and the Cover 2nd Attendant. She shows everyone her trophies and sash, it is hilarious!

OK this is just a quick post. I only have a few pictures back, but when I get the rest I will put them up!

Joe Daniels is a high fashion photographer in Salt Lake City. He will be moving to New York soon, on to bigger and better things! Until then he has decided to do some photo shoots with kids! I was so happy for Bentleigh to get a chance to work with him! I loved working with him before I was pregnant with Luhndyn! Anyway imagine a 2 year old without a nap, in the rain, with way too many spectators, lol thats about how it went...

My tiny baby isn't a tiny baby anymore :(

So I guess I have probably been avoiding writing this post! I should have done it about 3 weeks ago...

My little Luhndyn is 6, almost 7 months old already! I cant believe it! She is sitting up and rolling over and soon she will be crawling! We took her in for her 6 month check up and the Doc said she is tall for her age and a little under weight for her height, but nothing to worry about. Tall and skinny..who would of thought!

She has her two bottom teeth, and wants to eat anything she can get her hands on. So far we have not found ANYTHING that she doesn't like! She loves Bentleigh so much! She always laughs at her and wants to run and play with her so bad, I on the other hand, am in no hurry for that!

Tuesday was Jeffs birthday, we don't usually do anything too big for our birthdays, dinner, cards, whatever. Well Let me first tell you that Bentleigh LOVES birthdays, it doesn't matter who's birthday it is, she just likes to sing! So of course she sang to Jeff on Tuesday. Wednesday we woke up and from the get go she was talking about birthday cake for her daddy. I have the most persistent two year old ever! Not sure where she gets that from :) any way...I got the girls ready for the day, we went to lunch with my sister and my nieces, and then to the store to get this cake that she had been talking about all day. I figured we would just grab one of the little dinky cakes that they had sitting out and ask the nice lady to write happy birthday on it and be on our way. As we walk in the store, she spots a balloon, and freaks out. She has to get the balloon to go with the cake. SO now that she has the balloon in hand, we make our way to the bakery...and she start looking through all the cakes they have set out. After quite the deliberation, she picks the cake, the lady lets her pick the color of frosting and asks her what she should write on it. Bentleigh tells her " Happy Birthday Daddy" the lady looked at me like I was crazy! I told her to do what the two year old told her to do so we could get out of there! This is what we ended up with....

She was so proud of that cake! It was too cute!

After a few hours of PATIENTLY waiting, Jeff finally got home from work and Bentleigh greeted him with his balloon

Then Jeff caught a glance at his wonderful cake

Of course Bentleigh had to blow out the candles, after we sang again! She finished up with a big birthday hug, and then it was almost time for cake....

I had this great idea to take Luhndyns picture with the cake before we cut into it. I know I know, what was I thinking. Notice the hot pink ball of fluff smashed in between her fingers

And of course the classic " I didn't do it, I have no idea where the hot pink frosting came from that is all over my white dress" look.

So while we cleaned Luhndyn up...someone else decided it would be a great idea to color with that hot pink frosting

Never a dull moment at our house :)

New Years!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We rung in 2009 surrounded by friends and family! We had so much fun! The girls both made it to midnight, and well past! We hope everyone has a great year!!

I had to post this lol! This is what happens when Luhndyn stays up til midnight! I cant believe we caught this on camera! We couldn't stop Laughing. The poor thing is teething so she isn't feeling so great in the first place, but she was a trooper!

All of the kids went outside at midnight and ran through the snow with their noise makers, I had to hurry and get a few pictures and get miss Bentleigh, tinkerbell jamies and all, back in the house

OK so I made Jeff be the bad guy and bring her inside! He can reason with her much better then I can :)

The girls had a BLAST on Christmas! They each got 2 big gifts this year! They were extra good :)

Bentleigh woke up first, so we let her open her stuff, and let luhndyn sleep. It was so much fun! She loved having both of us all to herself for a little while!

After an hour and a half of unwrapping she was finally done

AND then Luhndyn woke up

She had to tryout the new toys! Of course Bentleigh wanted to get her hands on them too!

Here are some of my FAVORITES from the girls Christmas Shoot. I get SO stressed when it comes time for pictures! I honeslty start putting outfits together and making bows like a month before, and still run around like a crazy woman an hour before we are supposed to be there. THEN I get them back, and remember why I do it lol.....DEFINATELY worth it ! I cant wait for our next shoot!

The day before yesterday Luhndyn got to try cereal, or oatmeal lol whatever you want to call it! I was a little nervous that she would spit more back out at me then she would actually eat, but once she got the hang of it, I couldn't get it in her mouth fast enough! Afterwards she was so happy and hyper! She it too much fun!

We FINALLY got Luhndyn blessed! It has been so hard with my crazy schedule and all of the stuff we have going on this time of year, but we finally got everyone together. It turned out to be a great day, anytime we have both of our families around its a blast!

Ok so I am not doing so well with this whole blogging thing! I promise I will try to be better! We have been SO busy lately, I will have plenty of posts to come!!

A few weeks ago we decided that Bentleigh might like to go see Disney on Ice. I wasn't really sure if she would be able to sit through the whole thing, but we decided to give it a shot! She fell asleep on the way in, so Jeff carried her from the car, into the building. I woke her up when we got to all of the vednors and disney stuff...and she LOVED it! She was so good through the entire thing, she kept telling us who all of the characters were, it was so cute! The only down fall was that after we came home, she wanted to go back and see Nemo, we had to explain to her that he had to go home. She was upset for a little bit, but she made sure to tell EVERYONE that she got to see him. We will definately take her again next year!
